Iyang litrato sa kaliwa ang mga members ng group blog na ito. I would like to introduce them to you with my loving and biting words. The first photo is Ajay. She is presently in a long-distance relationship so if you wanna ask about ” absence makes the heart grow fonder / out of sight, out of mind ” sayings, she is the one. Oh,she is also a journalist, mom, new bride and expecting a baby soon. That guy after Ajay is Apol. Aktibista ang dating and works for some Canadian immigration consultant office. My heart always grows so warm whenever I see photos of him and his lovable daughter Pia. He’s been in some heartbreaking relationship so you see, most of us here can give you real stories and advice not just based on some tear jerking movies or Nintendo role-playing games. Ako po yung katabi ni Apol. Next is Nick, who recently immigrated to New Zealand, a place said to be one of the most beautiful in the world. He took with him his young family with no job prospect at all,a big gamble. With a smart guy like him,it didn’t take long for him to find himself an employer. His blog is very enticing cos I feel like I see and experience with them all the new things and places his family is discovering everyday. I wanna go there but i’m so short they might think i’m a hobbit.

Ah,si Joyce.nahihilo ako minsan sa mga status updates niya sa Facebook kasi mahina ako sa Math. She is a teacher in the States and it’s so fun watching the new her, raring to try new challenges in life and rediscover the woman in her again! BongK used to post erotic stories before in his blog. His relationship status is quite a mystery to us. My heart breaks whenever I think of how much he misses his mother. Makes me wonder and worry my own son will be so sad too when i’m gone. The next pic is a couple, Batjay and Jet,one of the sweetest teams in the blog hemisphere. They usually send I love you’s online even though they’re sitting in the same sofa with their separate laptops. Jay is the funny guy while Jet is more on the poetic side. Batjay has two books published, the contents lifted from his blog archives. Karla is our IT girl.A whiz when it comes to web designing and technology .She also has a good eye for photography. The last picture on the second row is Tintin, better known as Pinayhekmi. I know she’s tired of being described as a pretty face but that’s what she is, beautiful, sexy and smart. She’s taking up Nursing while working and raising her cute daughter Mina, one of our group’s adorable babies.

Tatang Rome is the religious one in our group. If you want some online prayers and inspirational bible quotes, his blog will not disappoint you.We also have two food bloggers and one of them is Celia, the only member from the UK. We’re all dying for a food entry from her in this new blog. Maybe something funky like her music taste! Kaya nasa gitna yan kasi siya ang sentro ng grupo namin. Our house doctor is also the one who formed this group,si Doc Emer. He is witty and naughty that’s why I like him. I hate boring guys kaya vibes kami ni doc! Yung naka pose na naka-ngalungbaba ay si Ate Sienna, one of the movers and foundation of this blog. She designed the template, ganda ano, parang e-zine ang style. She has a blog community called Pansitan, hosting several bloggers like the famous Jim Paredes and his celebrity daughter Ala.Super vakla itong si Ate Sienna,a techie that speaks the sward lingo.I sometimes need a dictionary when I visit her blog. Words like Plis esmyuski, dyongitera.. She usually starts with Hemingweys for anyway! Si Tito Rolly ay nagtuturo sa De La Salle University,in fact, some of our members here were his former students. He is also into painting, poetry and music, artistic talaga. I so love his sense of humor and I consider myself lucky for having him as a good friend.

Palagay ko nung younger days ni Jmom kamukha siya ni Gloria Diaz. Level headed, funny, warm and friendly, that’s what she is. And she cooks and has several blogs. She is a popular blogger, respected among the millions of veteran and wannabe bloggers. I had to buzz Jardine on gtalk to ask him how to spell naka-ngalungbaba. Dave is uber geeky but also makata. Check out his blog for technology, business or anything that smells of geekiness. Ruth, is married to a German guy and they are presently residing in Singapore. She is into genetics field and like Tintin,an active member of PINOYexpats e-zine. OK,we’re getting to the end and getting younger and sweeter too. Tanya just turned 25 and is sporting a gorgeous tan that is the envy of the whole population of Seattle and i’m sure, of her husband too.Browsing her pictures on FB is a joy, full of love, fun and future! Last photo na tayo sa 4th row,si Toni, who just gave birth and is oozing with motherhood bliss right now. You want ideas and fun online,go to her blog. She was invited and nominated in Singapore in a Blog Award ceremony, super cool! Career, family and hobby, what a well-balanced life!

That girl holding a mug is Mari.I assure you that it wasn’t coffee she was drinking cos I know she loves macha or green tea drinks. Mari is also in the corporate world and she had my full silent support when I heard she went back to school ( UP) while working, raising two teenage boys and blogging. I remember I sent her some Japanese sweets cos I felt it was such an admiring thing to do. Another super MOM is MEC. Talk about change..she used to be known as sexy mec,the tease, curvaceous naughty girl. She is still sexy, I know, cos sexiness comes from within but the changes I see are in the things she’s into these days.Motherhood, sign language, HIV causes and other volunteer works like the Breastfeeding support group she is very much involved with. And the last member, she has no picture here but you will see her genius style of blogging in this blog ,is,Cat.She has a large following and is a mystery in the blog world. Just like the cute, lovable feline animals, she is also unpredictable, biting and dangerous. And elusive!

Watch out for us! and Tintin, I forgot to greet you on your birthday, hope it was a blast!

Dear mouse,
Fidela “Tiya Dely Magpayo” died at age 87. She was still broadcasting up to her last moments. I have not listened to any of her programs even when I was in the Philippines but I know she was an icon in broadcasting industry. At that age (she’s older than my mom) when many of her colleagues in the industry had died she still reigned as the Philippines’ First Lady of Radio.

Her signature greeting was Ang Inyong Lingkod, Tiya Dely.

There is a dearth of information about our past celebrities and personalities that googling does not help whenever we want to know something about those who were popular before but are already gone. You can visit my other Movies Celebrities, Then and Now blog where you can find photos and biographies of old celebrities dating back to Fernando Poe, Sr.,
(i don’t have to tell even the young ones, that he was the father of the late Ronnie Poe, Jr., the movie action king and the movie actor who could have been the president…not to mention, my brother was named after him…hehehe; Carmen Rosales, (if you do not remember her, you might if you go to Baguio and get by Carmen and Rosales, Pangasinan, two towns named after this movie icon…and also the Carmen bridge in the same province… Rogelio dela Rosa , (the movie actor who could have been the first to become the President had he not withdrawn in favor of his brother-in-law, Diosdado Macapagal, the father of Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo… and many others. I am trying to update the blog to include those in the other industry like radio and TV. Shameless plugging? No. My friend used to ask me how come I know so much about the old celebrities when they have died long before I knew how to write my long name. It is research silly which was just like fishing in empty aquarium because there are no information available. Some relatives e-mailed me like the daughter of Leopoldo Salcedo, the daughter of Eddie Arenas and many more.

To name a few of those who made names in the radio and TV media industry, here is a short list.
