I’ve been using evite for the past couple of Jo-Lo’s past birthday invitations. The one thing I like about using such online services is that it helps you keep track of who confirmed, who’s not going to make it, and who’s coming along with others. Really huge time-saver as well if you need to remind the invitees about the party or things to bring… you don’t need to sort through the confirmed and declined email addresses.
Plus there’s the added benefit of being environment-friendly. Paperless invites!

Beat the Summer heat with Tech innovations

Summer is winding down here in New Zealand, but the Philippines is right in the middle of it! Summer in our country is always memorable. We have amazing beaches and vacations in the province is always fun, what with the diverse range of fruits that we have (which you can pick off the tree if you’re lucky). And halo-halo!

Nintendo We!

We just bought a Nintendo Wii last weekend.  I know, we’re quite the latecomer because the Wii has been around for the longest time.  But our recent migration to New Zealand has prompted us to prioritise food, clothing and shelter over gaming
I come from a gaming family, however, being born at a time when the Game n Watch became hugely popular, followed by the Nintendos and the PlayStations and the PSPs.  So when food, clothing and shelter has been taken cared of, it’s time for gaming!

Electric fan goes hi-tech

The lowly electric fan, our constant companion in the hot summer days and the hot, humid nights.  Even in our offices we would sneak in small, portable fans for those times when we have to work overtime and the building’s airconditioning has been turned off.  For its simple yet effective design – rotating blades, swiveling head, selectable speed – we thought the furthest innovation this appliance can go is the ice compartment.
